WCMA will be closed from June 7–22, but we’re excited to have a booth at the inaugural Arrival Art Fair in North Adams from June 13–15!
Founded as an antidote to the frenetic pace of the art fair circuit, Arrival is an invitational program established to foster deeper engagement of contemporary art between the public, artists, galleries, curators, collectors, while set amid the natural beauty of the mountain range.
Situated at the award-winning hotel Tourists in North Adams, MA, a property with more than 55 acres of land on the banks of the Hoosic River and enveloped by Mount Greylock, Arrival will be an equidistant gathering point approximately three hours by car for New Yorkers and Bostonians.
WCMA is thrilled to be participating in Arrival’s inaugural edition. Visit our “booth” to see new renderings, models, and materials of our new purpose-built museum, currently under construction and set to open in 2027; attend a special “What’s Up @ WCMA” event to chat with staff about current programming and future plans for the new museum on Saturday at 11 a.m.; attend a discussion about the future of artist residencies on Sunday at 11 a.m.; and meet with staff and architects about the museum building project throughout the event.
