It’s summer school, WCMA style!

Join us in the SO–IL \ WCMA: Building a New Museum exhibition on three Tuesdays this July to learn about our plans for our new building, set to open in 2027! You will be treated to a behind-the-scenes look at where we’re heading, and we hope you can offer some of your own thoughts as we create the future together!

Each program will begin at 5 p.m. in the exhibition and will be followed by a patio party at 6 p.m.

Registration is appreciated here but not required.

EDU 101: Exploring Education

Our engagement curators will demonstrate how they are thinking about education and programming at the new building.

ARTH 101: Preparing Collections

Our exhibition and collection curators will demonstrate how they are approaching the pre-move assessment of the collection in the current space as they think about curating the new building. 

• Tuesday, July 23

ECO 101: Celebrating Sustainability

Our architects and project team will demonstrate how they are incorporating strenuous sustainability measures into the new building.
