5/11/12 - 6/3/12

The senior studio exhibition celebrates the culmination of each artist’s senior project. This year features the work of 17 Williams College studio art majors:

Monel Chang, Carlos Diaz-Sullivan, Susannah Emerson, Chloe Feldman Emison, Katharine Gallagher, Richie Iskra, Ariel Kavoussi, Mitchell Martinez, Grace McEniry, Erin McGonagle, Dominique Rodriguez, Lucy Rollins, Julia Seyferth, Deonarine Soogrim, Aubree Stephens, Pamela Summers, and Sydney Tooze.

The Class of 2012 has worked in a wide array of media including video, oil and acrylic paint, homemade vegetable paint, ink, photography, steel, papier-mâché, social practice, text, hand-printed wallpaper and multimedia installation. The work draws inspiration from diverse sources, exploring such far-ranging issues as the human condition, the complexity of communication, environmental concerns, truth, problem sets, and their resolution, innocence, chaos, and portraiture.
