WCMA NOW

Get an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at what's happening at the museum now—including how we are planning for the future of WCMA—at this first annual, day-long program.

Visitor looks at William Morris Hunt’s 1878 painting Niagara Falls, on view in the Remixing the Hall exhibition, 2022.

You are invited to join us for the first annual WCMA NOW program on Friday, October 14, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  This day-long event is designed to offer our friends and supporters a behind-the-scenes close look at what is happening at the museum right now, including our planning for the future of WCMA as we approach the museum’s centennial in 2026.

Morning sessions will feature Gallery Tours and deep dives into our signature programs Acquiring Art and Object Lab, as well as a presentation on Teaching with Art and the Digital Humanities. Afternoon highlights will include conversations around the Williams Summer Arts & Museums Immersion Program and Art History at Williams College. There will also be a session focused on the Future of WCMA with the principal architects of SO-IL, the firm selected to design a new museum building for Williams.

Space is limited and registration is required. Lunch will be provided. Please register using this link: WCMA NOW RSVP
