The schedule for the day is as follows:
11 a.m.–noon: Tour of Teddy Sandoval and the Butch Gardens School of Art with curators C. Ondine Chavoya and David Evans Frantz
Noon–1 p.m.: Spice Root Lunch Buffet with local LGBTQIA+/Latinx groups sharing information in a casual setting (all are welcome, reservation required here.)
1–3 p.m.: Hands-on mail art workshop led by Erick Ramos-Jacobo, Program Research Assistant and Workshop Leader
3:30–5 p.m.: Panel discussion moderated by Associate Professor of Art Mari Rodriguez Binnie featuring short presentations by artists from the exhibition (Joey Terrill, Troy Montes-Michie, and Moises Salazar Tlatenchi) followed by a dialogue delving into the topics of experimental graphics, queerness, and Latinx and Chicanx identities
The event will take place throughout Lawrence Hall, the building that houses WCMA. Visitors can enter through the main museum door; stairs and an elevator are available for accessing the upper galleries. There is limited parking directly outside the museum on Lawrence Hall Drive but ample parking nearby on public streets and in public lots.
