Join Rasheed to learn more about the creation of this site-specific installation, in which fragments of ideas and phrases scattered throughout the rotunda create unexpected relationships between images and words. As part of her talk, the artist will invite visitors to wander the museum in search of shapes and texts they can use to create their own ephemeral works.
As we prepare for the exhibition to travel to the Benton Museum of Art at Pomona College this summer, Rasheed will also talk about what she learned from working on this first iteration of the exhibition at WCMA in collaboration with Williams College Graduate Program Contemporary Curatorial Workshop.
