Lumi Tan is Curator at The Kitchen, an innovative non-profit space in New York City, where she organizes exhibitions and produces performances with artists across disciplines and generations. Tan co-curated From Minimalism into Algorithm (2016), a year-long performance and exhibition series, and has worked with artists including media artist Sondra Perry and conceptual and performance artist Danh Vo, among others. Her talk will explore questions of performance curation, documentation and archiving.
